San Diego Wedding and Event PhotographyThank you so much for clicking this far! Most of the work we do is photojournalistic or candid in style. But we know how important those formal portraits are; so you can count on having not only those candid photographs that will for generations recount the unforgettable moments of your big day, but also a series of beautiful traditional (and some not so traditional) portraits that you'll look forward to hanging on your wall. We want to have the oportunity to record your fairytale wedding as it unfolds, so whether you’re getting married in a church or on a sandy beach, our wedding photographer will be there to capture every fleeting moment. Every session includes images in both color and black and white. We also provide coverage for quinceaneras, done of course with the same care and attention to detail that we give our wedding customers. Information from our photographer: What you will getThe pricing link above lists what's included in each individual package, however, I think it's very important for me to clarify exactly what you will get as far as image quality is concerned. All of the images you get on your CD will have minimal photo editing done to them. More specifically, the color and exposure will be adjusted if necessary corrected. Any album or reprint you order however will have every image meticulously tweeked by hand. Everything from contrast control and sharpening to the addition of photo filters and other fancy photoshop actions will be applied at this point. The same thing goes for the black and white images you'll receive. All of those photos will be simple desaturated versions of the color images without any additional changes applied. There are of course very important reasons for this. First of all, it cuts down on the turn around time. (You can probably expect to get your CD and proofs 3-4 weeks after the event.) But most importantly, this allows me to really concentrate and place all of my creative efforts on the images you'll actually want printed or placed in an album. Information from our photographer: Equipment Now I've been asked this more than a few times.
"What kind of camera do you use?" Before I answer this, I just want to say for the record,
"it doesn't matter what's in your hands, it's what's in between your ears that counts."
(I didn't come up with that line but I thought it was pretty cool so I'm going to go ahead and
plagiarize it) Anyways, to elaborate, I have seen some truly
magnificent images taken with the most rudimentary camera systems and some really aweful
stuff taken with some top of the line equipment (and vice versa). There's a
celebrity photographer named Jeremy Kost who actually uses a freakin' polaroid!
Not to mention the successful and very much notorious fashion photographer Terry Richardson
who uses a point-n-shoot. Check out this interview on youtube - Terry Richardson.
Now, some of their stuff isn't exactly my cup of tea but that's not the point. The point is, that if you base such an important decision like
who your photographer is going to be, based on what kind of equipment they use, there's
a good chance that you're going to be in for a really big dissapointment. Anyways, to finally answer the question...
Coverage AreaWe are located in North San Diego County and service all of Southern California. If you are located outside of San Diego county, a one-way $.40/mile fee will apply. |
