In Studio or on LocationCurrently I work almost exclusively on location. If you want a studio-type of portrait session, no problem, all I need is a power outlet for the studio lights and about 8 sq ft of room to set up the backdrop, although more room would be preffered but I can make do with 8. To the left is an example of a studio set-up that I put together in a client's living room. And if you would like to shoot outdoors but are having trouble deciding where, feel free to look through the various galleries on this website to get a feel for the different locations. I've also started to compile a collection of wide-angle images from some of the places I use for photo shoots to hopefully assist in making a decision. You can see that link here - San Diego. How long will the photo shoot take?Portrait sessions last about an hour or two, if you require multiple wardrobe changes it might take a little longer; in this case a 3 hour photo shoot is not unheard of. I am very flexible in terms of scheduling, however, if you are looking to do an outdoor shoot, please note that in these cases I only schedule my photoshoots when the light is friendliest to photographers, which is about 1.5 to 2 hours before sunset or sometimes shortly after sunrise. Editing and Touch-UpsAll images are edited for color and exposure, any further editing however is only included with the purchase of prints. This includes erasing of most blemishes, sharpening, contrast corrections and so on. Here's an example of a before and after image so you can have an idea of what our editing process usually entails - before & after CoverageWe are located in North San Diego County and provide services to all of Southern California, if however you are located outside of the San Diego County line, a one-way $.40/mile fee will apply.
